The Tango is a social dance which affords all who participate the opportunity to share brief moments of joyful expression with one other person. The classes we teach will be positive and encouraging. Our intentions are to increase awareness and perception of Tango while allowing those who dance in our community to leave their milongas smiling and content.
Herein, we will be exploring our personal views and experiences in and around this magical dance. The classes will be open to any and all who wish to join. Attention will be given toward those who have never danced tango previously or those who wish to deepen their own tanguero experience. Our focus will be on frame, walking, feeling the environment and respect.
Katia and I will be teaching Argentinean Social Tango lessons at our home, "Chez Tango," in Durham beginning the first Thursday in June and ending the last Thursday in July. Pricing is as follows: (4 classes, 90 minutes each)
$50 for the series if paid before the first lesson.
$55 for the series if paid on or after the first lesson.
$15 per person for intermediate level dancers who wish
to refine their basic skills and drop in on a class.
Private Lessons
$60 per Hour for single sessions, single or couple
$45 per Hour for 3 sessions or more, paid in advance
